On November 3, 1997, a lavish celebration took place in Munich ’s city center: the Hofbräuhaus celebrated its 100-year anniversary as the building and restaurant we know today. With an anniversary beer brewed especially for the occasion, hundreds of regular guests drank to the Hofbräuhaus - the most famous beer hall in the world.
